Error when connecting to arris express
Hello, I have this common error "Unable to connect to ARIS community. Please connect to the internet when running ARIS express for the first time so that your login data can be checked. Please also check the proxy settings of your system in the internet options.", the thing is that i've tried almost everything i've got in mind, such as downloading the net start version, it activates only the administrator account, and does not activate the main program for normal user account....

Error in Aris Express
Guten Tag,
Wir haben versucht ArisExpress auf PCs in unserer Firma zu installieren. Das war so weit auch kein Problem.
Jedoch schlägt das Anmelden fehl, wenn ArisExpress gestartet wird. Habe bereits das FAQ durchgearbeitet aber selbst mit der .jnlp funktioniert es nicht. Kriege hier ebenfalls einen Fehler:
Daher die Frage: wo liegt unser Fehler? Haben bereits überprüft, ob Proxys aktiv sind, sind sie aber nicht. Und wie gesagt mit dem express.jnlp kam dieser Fehler.

Fehlermeldung bei der Erstanmeldung/Initialisierung von ARIS
Guten Tag,
es gibt zurzeit Probleme bei der Erstanmeldung/Initialisierung von ARIS. Hier erscheint die Fehlermeldung:
"Es konnte keine Verbindung zur ARIS Community hergestellt werden. Bitte stellen Sie beim ersten Start von ARIS Express eine Verbindung zum Internet her, damit Ihre Zugangsdaten überprüft werden können. Bitte überprüfen Sie zusätzlich die Proxy-Einstellungen Ihres Systems in den Internet-Optionen."
Wir benötigen die zum Zugriff notwendigen Webseiten/-adressen auf die ARIS Community. Kann mir hier jemand weiterhelfen?

Error activation in to Aris community
Good afternoon, it is impossible to pass the stage of activation of ARIS Express product. Error "unable to connect to ARIS Community". Internet access can fill. We checked through wireshark after step "Hallo client - hallo server" exeption 80

noticed ARIS Express connection problems?
Hi, dear ARIS Express users,
currently, due to an update on our server, the current "local installable" version of ARIS Express for Windows is not able to connect to the community in order to check our account.
We are building a new version and put it online as soon as we got it.
Meanwhile, you could use the webstart version, that can be downloaded here: http://download.ariscommunity.com/express.jnlp
(You need a local installed up-to-date Java runtime version installed)

Installation of Aris Express Failed
I had to install Aris on a new laptop, running Windows 10 Home, but I have problems with it. During installation message below appears. Who can help me and solve this problem?

Error when ARIS Express is launched
Hi,
I downloaded the latest version of ARIS Express onto my Windows 7 laptop today. Every time I launch the tool, I now get the following error message:
I then removed the application completely from my laptop and downloaded the tool for a second time. Unfortunately these did not resolve the problem.
Does anyone know what this message means? How do I fix my installation?

error while starting ARIS Express: "launcher.cfg"
Hello,
after last update of ARIS Express to version 2.4c I cannot launch ARIS Express. Following error is displayed: "Unable to find a JRE in the specified directory. Please repair the settings in launcher.cfg and try again".
Java 8 Update 111 is present on my computer. Uninstalling and installing of setup.exe was not helpful. File "launcher.cfg" ist not existing on installing path of ARIS Express.
Can help me someone?

Problems in starting the Express 2.4 version
As I downloaded and installed the new Aris Express free version available - 2.4, I'm not able to start the platform. Please, find attached the repair request message that appears. Please, advise what actions to be performed. The OS of my work station is MS 8.1 x64.

Aris Express & Windows 10 compatibility
Hello,
I have installed Aris Express on a Windows 10 OS on a new Microsoft Surface. The installation itself went fine. However, the text on the dashboard seems to have been 'splashed'. The toolbar on the diagrams is tiny. If I use a docking station to a larger screen, all seems fine for a short time then after a while, for no apparent reason, the dashboard text goes very big and I have to exit Aris Express and go back in to reset itself. I am also unable to pick up the ends of connectors to move them from one object to another. So I have the following questions:
1) is Aris Express fully compatible with Windows 10 operating system? If not, when will it be?
2) is full Aris, therefore, compatible with Windows 10? if not, will it be?
3) could it be the problem is with the new Microsoft Surfaces? If so, will Aris Express & full Aris be useable on them.

ARISexpress 2.4c in Mac OS can't authenticate ARIScommunity
Hi ARISexpress support,
I installed 2.4c version in Mac OS X, using Java 1.6 which is known to work, but fail at "authenticating my username to community" step.
My user name is nin0 and is able to login manually to community.
Have checked most clues available in forum but still stucked in ariscommunity authentication.

Problem with authorization in ARIS community
Hi!
I've got a problem with authorization in ARIS community (step 3 of activation wizard process) when trying to install ARIS Express 2.4 version (please, have a look at the screenshot attached). The system keeps on telling there is a problem with Internet connection but it absolutely OK.
My account data (e-mail/password) are also OK since I can easily authorize in ARIS community web page.
Please, tell what is a problem.

Import xml files from ARIS Architect to ARIS Express
Hi,
Our client team has recently procured the university version of ARIS. Wanted to know if it is same as ARIS Express.
Our company has ARIS Architect licenses and we are trying to export xml files or adb files from our package to share it with clients. Would ARIS Express allow import of these xml files or restore the adb file directly into Express or do these need to be compatible.
Please provide the appropriate solution on how we can share these files with the client if he does not have the same version of ARIS.

I need URGENT help please.. Flowchart & BPMN
Hello,
I want to make a flowchart & I know I can do that via (General Diagram). The flowcharts I have are originally process diagrams. They were made using Visio, I guess, which means I cannot link in between diagrams.
My issue as follow…
- I want to convert the flowcharts to ARIS in order to use this wonderful program freely.
- I need to divide my flowchart into Lanes or pools like the once in BPMN diagrams.
My questions are…
- Is there a way to add pools or lanes to general diagrams??
- If not, is there a way to convert all symbols from flowchart of BPMN??
