I get to step 3 - enter login data (account name and password are correct) and I get the following error:
"Unable to connect to ARIS Community. Please connect to the Internet when running ARIS Express for the first time so that your login data is checked. In addition, please check your system's proxy settings under Internet Options."
I'm currently in the ARIS Community writing this, so I am connected to the Internet and my account is already resolved.
I am running:
- Windows 10 64 bit
- Intel i7-6700 CPU @ 3.40 GHz
- 12 GB RAM
- 7 TB Disk space
What should I do to resolve this issue? (please see attached file) I can be logged into the ARIS Community through my browser and still get the error during step 3.

I'll report back when I've completed the process they describe.
It worked. The link provided resolves the issue. no more need for assistance.

Good day!
Fails to correctly open a file created by ARIS Express.
On preview I see full model, but after opening I available only part of the model. This is 1/10 of the work done. The other 9/10 as if it were not drawn. Please help. Day of work lost :(

Tengo la siguiente pregunta, es posible desde Aris Express, exportar un modelo con extensión .BPMN? Me gustaría saber como, ya que sólo veo que exporte a PDF o a imagen.

There is serious problem with manual update using downloaded "aris-express-setup.exe": it writes message about update from version 7.1.0.895215 to 7.1.0.1115144, then finishes correctly but program info still has 2.4b. Relaunching installer shows Modify,Repair and Remove options. What is wrong?

Automatic check feature should have own disable switch. What parameter should I add to command line or ISS configuration file to disable this check?

I am getting an Unable to Save Model error in my internalerr logs time and again. The logs does not detail the issue... merely run through the components with a "Unknown Source" value... Please assist?

Hello,
I have been trying to activate the ARIS Express installation with no success. It keeps failing with the same error to check the Proxy settings. All the checks have been performed and all the suggested clean-up actions have been tried and still it fails. The system and network admins have also tried everything they can. It still fails.Btw. I have checked the earlier posts and tried all the suggested actions. Still it fails.
Can you please suggest a better or an alternative way to activate the account ? I see this issue is not new. I have been trying to get this working for the past few days. If this does not work, I have no other choice but to choose another product for my work.

Hi All,
I am creating a definition copy of a model and when i use the option to Paste as "definition copy" some sub groups are automatically getting pasted along with the model. All the sub groups are empty.
Can you help me in getting rid of these sub groups and just copying the model alone.

Error information: >SetupNew\setup.cpp (591)
Please note that I also updated the Java version to version 8 121

Установил aris на компьютер. Запускаю приложение, на шаге 3 (enter login data) ввожу свои логин\пароль. После чего появляется сообщение:

В чем проблема? Подключение к интернету имеется.

hello all,
i cannot login in my Aris - Express windows app in the first time. that is why i cannot use the app at all. i actually inputed the correct login detail. i can actually login from the web with the same user credentials but not in window app. ple help.

I have previously used Aris Express without issue, though I don't recal the version. I finally stopped ignoring the the prompt to upgrade and have not been able to start Aris Express since then.
My VirtualBox is running on my Mac
My Mac version is Sierra 10.12
Virtualbox v 5.1.14
Express 2.4 1115144
I get the error 'Unable to find a JRE in the specified directory. Please repair the settings in launcher.cfg and try again'
Can someone help with this? I'm more of a Mac that Windows user but can follow instructions and can find my way around Windows 10. I have already searched online for this issue, including the forums, but the mixture of instructions have not actually resolved the issue.
